Current Nail Polish Picks

I've noticed something that's popular in the beauty blogging community is nail polish picks. Normally I don't paint my nails (GASP! I know!) but with the new year, I wanted to reinvent myself, so to speak. I wanted to look more put together so part of that meant painting my nails since I can't deal with acrylics. Fortunately my nails grow quickly and look nice with a little maintenance. So I've been purchasing nail polishes to add to my small collection and I thought I'd share my two current favorites with you all. They just so happen to be what's on my nails right now too so there's that.

The first pick is Sally Hansen Diamond Strength No Chip polish in #330 fuchsia bling bling which I LOVE. It lasts for quite a while without chipping and its such a gorgeous color! Its also the perfect consistency and goes on evenly leaving no streaks.

The second pick is Sally Hansen Gem Crush in #08 glitz gal. I love it equally but I will say it can be tricky to apply. You have to play around a bit and use multiple coats for it to be evenly applied. It's also a thicker, chunkier consistency. It's a darker grey then I would prefer but its still very girly and sparkly. Beware though, glitter polish is pretty tough to remove.

Here's a picture of both colors on my nails currently. I love the whole "paint your ring finger a different color" trend especially when using this specific glitter polish.

So there you have it, my favorite polishes at the moment. If you enjoyed this post, let me know and I'll continue sharing my polish picks in the future. =)
